The Harman Kardon SoundSticks Wireless speaker system evolved from the SoundSticks II that now resides in the permanent collection of NYC’s MoMA. Taking the inspired design of its elder, Harman Kardon engineers improved the aesthetic with slight visual enhancements, and added Bluetooth® technology for a more seamless listening experience. Featuring a six-inch subwoofer, eight full-range drivers and 40 watts of amplification, the SoundSticks Wireless delivers the same beautiful sound and pop-culture appeal as its predecessor, only now you can seamlessly stream audio from any of your favorite Bluetooth-enabled devices be it your iPhone, iPad, laptop, tablet or MP3 player.

Customer Reviews
Excellent sound, Wireless works great
October 22, 2012
By Joshua Weber
It sounds like some of the other reviewers had one-off issues with the wireless. I had no problems hooking these speakers up to my macbook pro and getting great sound.
On the sound, I’m not sure if it’s the speakers’ unique design or the specific components, or a mixture, but these speakers pump out loud, crystal clear audio. I mainly use them for watching movies through my computer and listening to music. Good bass response for hip hop and great range for more subtle / mid-range frequency music like classical or acoustic.
Overall, excellent speakers and I’m really happy with wireless – keeps my desk uncluttered.
Works awesome with my iPhone and iPad

I have the original sound sticks from back in 2006 and I LOVED THEM. They still work, and I had no intention of replacing them till I saw that these are WIRELESS and BLUETOOTH! These are awesome. I love these, the wireless connection is a synch. The range works really well, I can play from so far away, multiple rooms away, through multiple walls.
I highly recommend these!

The Harman Kardon Wireless Bluetooth Soundsticks are awesome, the sound is crystal clear. It’s perfect for watching movies and even for a party! The sound quality is uncomparable… the comfort that the brings you going around the house with your tablet or mobile and still listening to music is priceless. If you buy it, you’ ll never regret it.
Absolutely amazing sound

My brother had the older version,Soundsticks III, and he absolutely loved them. I decided to get one for me when I bought my MacBook Air. I was amazed by the clarity and deep bass. No matter what type of music I play, the Soundsticks Wireless definitely sounds great. It works with my iPad 2!
Brutal bass… AND loving it

I’ve been listening to my music library from my android phone and laptop trying to get a feel for how I really feel for these. Well I can say the verdict is in, I love these and more than a bit put off I’ve never seen these before. No I haven’t been living under a rock, just these have never been in any brick and mortar store that I’ve been to else I’d have noticed them before now.
Firstly, niche market item, they’re computer speakers. Umm, I’ve shopped extensively for reasonably priced and great sounding computer speakers. What I did end up with have served seriously and honorably (Altec Lansing VS 4121 – a great set of speakers in their own regard.)
The bluetooth being added to these elevates these out of being just computer speakers in my opinion. I don’t at this time have these hooked up to any computer, just connecting the bluetooth devices and being amazed at the clarity of the music and the driving bass. The Altec Lansings I have don’t compare to the bass and are marginally behind in sound reproduction.
The richness of these across all sound ranges is remarkable. The sound quality of these, the volume level able to be reach is up there but not neighbor annoying (if you’re an apartment dwelller yes you will get pestered to turn it down still) and are exactly what I’ve been looking for in sound quality and convenience.
The alternatives to these that provide portability (Big Jambox, Bose Soundlink II) I haven’t heard but they’re also more expensive (especially the Bose.)
Available at MSRP of 229 at this time it’s not cheap, but I bought the Jambox 1.0 for 200 when that came out and these ate the Jambox for a light snack.
If you’re a bass admirer like myself these will not disappoint and moreso they will impress and amaze when you remember what you’re hearing is over bluetooth
Update: Almost forgot, the reviews I’d seen re: bluetooth dropping or not working when wireless was enabled simultaneously haven’t affected me so I’m either lucky or not unfortunate. The connection does get shaky after 25 feet with walls/obstacles in the path of the signal but that’s pretty much the norm by my experience.
Sound fantastic BUT Apple (ios 6.1.2) users beware!

Just received these speakers today. They sound and LOOK fantastic! But Apple users BEWARE….I loose bluetooth connection when using my iPhone 5 (ios 6.1.2) after about 5-10 minutes. The only fix is to turn the sub-woofer off and back on and then it will reconnect. After a little internet investigating, it looks as though the new ios (6) must have a bug. Users of the older version (ios 5) had no problems until they updated their software. It does it continuously so it makes the bluetooth feature virtually useless with Apple products with the new operating system. I have a Samsung tablet and it works great with this brand. I am hoping Apple finds a fix and sends an update to their operating system…
