Great tablet for a low price.

The Iview 760 TPC is my second tablet and the first one was a disaster.

I got it because I wanted a bigger screen than my WP7 Samsung but more portable than a laptop. Also wanted to try an android device.

I was a little leery because of a few problematic reviews but after getting it I love it.

Screen is better quality than I expected. Despite being lower res than more expensive tablets, it looks crisp and clear. Android 2.3 works great also.I’ve heard that ICS works better and can be upgraded through the IVIEW website, but If everything I want to work on it works, I may not change it (If it ain’t broke…). So far everything does, including Netflix, which I have read to be a problem. I ordered an RJ45 ethernet adapter because I work in locations without wi-fi. The adapter said it was for android tablets with Android 3.2 and up so if it does not work I will upgrade.

I love the OTG usb cable. It easily reads flash drives and peripherals (like mouse, trackball and keyboard).

Battery life is actually pretty good. I have gotten a good five hours as the specs promised. Not being very experiences with tablets this may or may not be great.

It may not be an Ipad (I wouldn’t know because I’ve never had one) but it is a good, comfortable and convenient tablet.

UPDATE: The Ethernet Adapter works just fine with my Iview and its Android 2.3 operating system. But I now have tried a couple of Android 4.0 tablets and saw that ICS does not seem to support ethernet. Also the 760 TCPS are now coming with Android 4.0 so I can’t say if it’ll work. Still a nice little tablet (I wouldn’t pay over $100 for it at this point though).

far better than expected

I was looking for an android tablet, but really couldnt justify spending hundreds of dollars, so i searched the interwebs for a while and checked out the reviews on newegg and amazon. People rated this tablet really well, mostly because of the cpu.

After getting this friday…
its awesome. Touchscreen is flawless.
its thinner than it looks in the pictures. Its actually thicker than my droid phone.
No intense lags on, minor ones…but nothing thats bad
batterys just okay after changing the phone files
Thinking of changing to ICS but stock gingerbread with beautiful widgets app is awesome.
Wireless is decent but 3/4 bars close to router

Overall…
Its amazing for $120-130…far better than i was expecting.
Just make sure you go to tabletrepublic theyve listed excellent youtube videos on how to change the phone files…dont be scared its really easy.

Very Good Overall

I purchased this tablet for my eleven year old son as a reward for making the honor roll all year. After using this tablet for about two weeks now, I must say that we are quite pleased. Although it is not of the highest quality materials, it is still quite a great value for the money. One very nice surprise is that it came with Ice Cream Sandwich installed. Another very nice surprise was the EXCELLENT customer support we received when we had to contact the manufacturer due to the tablet not arriving with some promised software. Not only did they respond to our emails promptly (on many occasions), but they were able to get us the missing software very quickly as they promised. Very impressed for a “no name” brand tablet. In addition, the processor is pretty zippy as it plays graphically intensive games well, and most other features work as promised. Bottom Line: For the money, this is one of the best values in a tablet.

Very Pleased, worth the price 100%

I bought this to see if we would really use a tablet much or not. We do not use our tablet for business, just fun. The tablet works very well, and came preloaded with ICS. The touchscreen is very responsive and overall the unit does exactly what I ask and what it is supposed to do. The tablet is reasonably quick, but not super fast. It does lag a bit at times, but I usually have several things running at the same time. Netflix app hangs up at times, but otherwise, it streams video well. I hope the next update for Netflix will fix the issue. We run several games and it works great on all the ones we run. Resolution in not super crisp, but very good, no complaints. We watched several netflix movies and the resolution was great for movies, surfing the web and playing games. Battery life is fine for us, we took it on a trip and we got 4 hours of continuous play time on it and battery was down to around 20%. We do keep the brightness turned down a bit to get more battery life. The camera is basic, but works.

Conclusion:
Very impressed and pleased with the iView 760TPC overall. There are a couple of things I wish it did better, but they are minor. Do I wish I would have spent more money and got a Kindle fire, sometimes, but would I recommend this to someone that wanted a budget android tablet, Absolutely. Would I buy this again, yep. For the price, this thing really does a lot very well! Lots of fun for the dollar.

Surprisingly good.

Just for reference, I have iphone 4 and Motorola Atrix; those two have very little lag time on app.
This iview tablet surprises me: it is slightly, only slightly slower than iphone 4 and Motorola Atrix. After updated to latest Android 4.01, it does feel smoother.
I lent it to my friend for one week (who has an ipad 2 for 6 months), he likes it enough to buy one despite lower screen resolution and shorter battery lifeb (4 – 6 hours). According to him, when tablets (also computers) reach certain performance — the difference is…, not worth extra money.
I can’t say anything about longevity and warranty about this iview tablet. If it last two years for that price, I’d say ‘Why Not’.

Fairly Impressed

Purchased this as an end of summer gift for an intern that worked with us for two years based the reasonably positive reviews and it being the only tablet under $200 with the Google Play market.

I was skeptical based on the price and lack of brand name, but upon receiving it and having it here at the office, I’ve been generally very impressed by it (so is the intern). The battery has held its charge well, Netflix streams clearly, the touch screen is fairly responsive, and it comes with a cover/carrying case.

For being under $120, having Google Play, and coming with a good amount of internal memory, I don’t think there is a better value in the tab market right now. Only reason not a five star review is the buttons on the outside feel cheap, but otherwise, great product!

Great Tablet

I purchased this tablet from another vendor located in the Memphis area so shipping would be fast. This is a super tablet and is 100% upgradeable to 4.0.3 from the Iview site. Its truly responsive unlike the other cheaper competitors. Really fast there is a great tutorial if googled that has more information then this does.

The Company real site. [...]
