This book provides everything you to need to knowin learning how to use Kindle Fire HD- it is very direct, no technical jargons and it contains a lot of incredible tips to get the most out of your kindle fire HD tablet. This is a very helpful manual especially for people who just got a kindle tablet for the first time. I especially like the section that offers great tips to make the best use of battery and the part where the book listed some cool tips for downloading and using apps. Another topic I enjoyed reading was on loading Nook books and other ePub formatted books. Indeed, this book can help you achieve the best user experience while navigating through your new device.

I’m no techno-wiz and I find most user manuals hard to understand so I really appreciated having this guide. I had no idea the Kindle Fire HD had so many features. I just downloaded all the music I’ve bought for friends and relatives into my PC, mp3 player and Kindle Fire, duh! Just that tip alone more than paid for the guide. The author provides a ton of information in an easy to understand manner. Well read this book if you own a Kindle Fire. My eyes were opened and so will yours be as to what these little puppies can do. I love my Kindle but I have been really contemplating going to a tablet for the versatility. This book offers step-by-step instruction and is well worth your time and investment.

I borrowed another ebook with tips for the Kindle Fire HD that I got for Christmas, but it had so many “duh’ suggestions that I stopped reading it. This manual doesn’t waste time on every single thing that anyone with common sense would already know – and that’s what I loved about it! The author suggested some great apps (like the GSAM Battery Monitor) that have already really come in handy. Since I’m a parent and intend to have my daughter play with the device occasionally, the parental control section was very helpful as well.

Overall, this is a well-written, concise manual that I will refer to in the future when I have questions about my Kindle Fire. Well worth the purchase.

I had no idea that the Kindle Fire HD had so many features and benefits! This book walks you through all of the ‘extras’ that you may not even be aware that your device has in an easy to read, conversational tone.

The biggest benefit of this guide is the introduction and links to the many apps and services that can be accessed and used via the Kindle Fire HD, that, if you’re a bit non-web savvy like me, you may otherwise have never heard of! Useful resource.
